Cashwrap privacy

Cashwrap is a weekly letter for shop owners, built from the shop's own Shopify numbers.

What we read

Sales totals by week, by sales channel and by store location. Product and inventory data: titles, vendors, product types, prices, unit costs, units sold and units on hand.

What we never read

Customer names, emails, addresses or phone numbers. Individual orders. The app has no access to orders or customers, and a check in the code refuses any report column that looks like customer data.

Where it is stored

On servers run by Render in the United States: the shop's settings, each week's letter, and a log of each run.

Who sees it

No person at Cashwrap reads a store's numbers. The letter is built by code and sent to the addresses the shop owner chooses.

How to leave

Uninstall the app from the Shopify admin. Every row for the shop is deleted within 48 hours. To pause the letters without uninstalling, use the link at the bottom of any letter or the pause switch in the app.
